SAP Logistics MM SD LE - Logistics Specialist Gatwick / Crawley, West Sussex £55k+bonus
The focus is on Logistics and MM. The requirement has become more acute due to a significant increase in both project and support requests. The current key open initiatives are listed below however this position is planned to back up the existing SAP Logistics resource on the team and provide the future capacity to support and enhance SAP Manufacturing Logistics functionality when this goes live later this year.
Skills
Experience in business process re-engineering / change management and project management, ideally in a global organisation. SAP MM, LE and LG configuration skills and experience in a systems development role. Ideally experience will cover LE (LWM/WM, Deliveries, shipment), MM (MRP, Purchasing, IM), SD (Legal Controls) and LG (Materials Masters, variant configurator), A good understanding of the integration with other SAP modules e.g. SD, SM and FICO is required. SAP ECC 6 experience desirable. Experience would also be of use on: ?Engineering change management ?Product Cost Planning, Strong computer literacy, with strong MS skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

-Support the existing SAP Products user community in achieving transactional excellence and process understanding in their daily activities -Support the development and design of world-class, global processes and procedures through investigation of customer needs, current practices and best practice. -Guide and train regional teams in the adoption and implementation of the agreed best practice processes and procedures on a global basis. -Work as part of a successful team to deliver the configuration and development of the required SAP system functionality and the implementation of consistent system processes globally. Specific responsibility for the Logistics process including delivery, routes, warehouse management, material master life cycle, Legal Controls, Materials management MRP and inventory management. -Work with the business and IM to ensure that other SAP applications are integrated and consistent / compatible in their implementation and configuration with that of the SAP solution -Create, maintain and publish full documentation of systems, processes, procedures and training materials -Work closely across the SAP functional areas to ensure end to end process activity is consistent, integrated and correctly represented and understood financially -Work with the off shore team to achieve optimal systems solution within budget and timescales
Activities
The job holder will be an important member of the IM Product and Logistics team with solid SAP systems and process experience. He/She will work closely with the Data Management team, Product Managers, Warehouse Managers and IM and must be highly regarded as an experienced SAP specialist through demonstrated results. To achieve this role holder will need to acquire a good knowledge of the business operations, the products and the relevant systems processes and procedures. A critical requirement of this role is high SAP competency. The successful candidate must also be an expansive thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to deal with end-users. The ability to interpret user requests and design efficient systems solutions is a core attribute required. The role is international in scope and therefore a level of international travel is possible depending on the ongoing work schedule.
